Sangkaya Artisan Ice Cream - Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

Hello from early 2016 :D Warm greetings for you all. This is my first review of 2016, so enjoy.

Sangkaya is an artisan ice cream franchise in Malaysia and widely famous throughout Malaysia because their store is spread all over the nation. Sangkaya starts their business from street stall and now they're expanded their business until as big as it is now. The main focus of their business is the Coconut ice cream, and they're really good at it.

I visited their outlet at Jalan Telawi Bangsar, which is very near from where i stay in Malaysia. The store is not too big but always packed during mid day because their ice cream is such a perfect companion in hot weather.

Delicious at Bangsar Village II, Kuala Lumpur

While exploring some of the best spot of Culinary in Bangsar, i kind of interest with Delicious outlet @ Bangsar Village II, so i give a visit then. Delicious is famous for its comfort food and most of them are so tempting, and you have to give it a try.

Delicious store is spreads throughout KL, and easy to found because located at some of the famous shopping Mall in KL, Malaysia likes Mid Valley Megamall, Bangsar Village, One Utama, Sunway Pyramid, etc.

Straits Food Company, Kuala Lumpur

Craving for Nyonya or Peranakan foods ? this place is probably what you're looking for. Located in the heart of downtown Kuala Lumpur, or exactly in Bangsar, Straits Food Company comes to you serving the Malaccan delicacies to you all. This place is like an oasis in KL for those who loves street foods and Nyonya dish, getting here is quite easy, just drop by Bangsar LRT station and it's just a minute away from there.

As you can see, Straits Food Company building comes with a blend of Malay and Chinese touch, it's like a common Kedai (Stall) that you can found all along the street in Malaka or Chinatown area in KL, and you can actually feel that ambiences when you're here.

PULP by Papa Palheta, Kuala Lumpur

It’s been a very berry long time that I’m not going to any café in KL, and this time was like an unplanned visit. In the previous day I was checking on google for research some cafes worth visit in KL, and I just found out one that really surprised me because its location is just on the next door of my neighborhood. It was nearby actually, it’s around Bangsar, just 100-150 metres walk away from my apartments.

Firstly I check the maps location of the café but I’m not quite sure that it would be that near, so I check on google maps and it was totally correct. I make a visit tomorrow morning to prove it, with some self-confidence I just try to walk to get there. And yeah I made it, it was located on the same location with NSTP,

Hi dear my fellow readers. Im so sorry for such a long pause after my last post here, Since my activity is kinda hectic here and i have no time to make any update. I've been living in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia for at least a month here. So far my stay here was a good one, i've visited some major and famous attractions here in KL that i can't wait anyy longer to share with you guys. Today i'm just gonna post one of my journey of discovering some best cafes in KL to worth a visit, and the one i got caught of is Feeka, the pretty small cafes around Bukit Bintang.

TWO STORIES Good Food & Drinks, Bogor

Another Good Eateries that fulfills the demands of Good Food, Great Venue with such a Nice Ambiance in Bogor. I think that this one is no need to introduce as some of you might know earlier than me so here it is, Two Stories Cafe, Bogor. Why should i call this hipsterish dining venue as a cafe while it's more like Bistro for me ? Okay then, whatever you called it, i don't care, as long as they're serving good food and good service, there you go.

Two Stories starts open for public since October 2014, from the opening until now on Two Stories is continuously gain their existency and popularity amongs Bogorians because it hipster looks and venue. Located in the same area with Monarchy Bistro, making it such a tough competitor with similar segmentation. You can easily find Two Stories by Bogor Medical Centre driveway and just 50 meters away from there.

MOMOMILK BARN, Bogor

Mooooo, and Susuuuuu, that's what you gonna heard when you come to Momomilk Barn, such a cute way yet quite strange at the same time. Yesterday i've had another appointment with another friend of mine from High School and also in College, so my friends and i heading to Momomilk directly after my visit to Cyrano Cafe that day.

Momomilk is actually not a newcomer in Bogor, they started the business in 2011 but incase of problem with the previous outlet they had in Jalan Bungkul, so they're decided to move their outlet to new location in Pakuan area which is much much bigger and spacious than the old one. The new location is very easy to reach, if you know De Leuit Sundanese Restaurant and SMA Negeri 3 Bogor as the nearest neighborhood, you must probably know where Momomilk location is. Yes, Momomilk Barn is located just right behind the famous De Leuit Sundanese Restaurant and the opposite of the new outlet of Kedai Kita. FYI Momomilk Barn just open for public a few days ago on February 6th 2014.

CYRANO Cafe, Bogor

F&B Business in Bogor has grown rapidly for the past 2 years, a new cafe opens every months in different location in Bogor's major culinary districts like Padjajaran, Bantarjati, Villa Duta, Suryakencana, Pandu Raya, Sudirman/ Air Mancur and many others. Today im gonna review the newest and hippest cool cafe in Suryakencana, theyre already opened for 3 months and here it is, please welcome Cyrano Cafe.

Opened it store on November 2014, Cyrano brings Suryakencana culinary culture to a new level, since Surken "simplified name of Suryakencana" is well known for it culinary epicentrum and the heaven of hawker or street food seekers and also the Chinatown of Bogor. Cyrano cafe is located in Suryakencana street near by the Pasar Bogor (Bogor traditional market) and if you know the famous "Ngesti" grocery store, Cyrano was right after Ngesti so you know where to stop by. I've been stalking and wondering pretty much about Cyrano and how it would be even months before they're open for public. I always passed Cyrano whenever i heading to home from Bogor Train Station to Sukasari via Suryakencana but i dont know why i always have no time even i frequently passed this cafe until my visit to Cyrano today. At first i wonder that Cyrano will appears with kind of Gipsy looks or even Mythical looks because the black cat is identical with mysterious thing, but hey ! They're prove it wrong, Cyrano comes with more Carnavalish looks with dim and a bit romantic ambiance.

MUJIGAE – Bibimbap and Casual Korean Food, Botani Square Bogor

I went to Mujigae just yesterday with my fellow friends, i went there around 11 or lunch time. I am fortunate enough that day because there’s enough free space for us, thingking about weekend usually restaurants are full, and yes just a minutes after we sat, there are a long queue in front of the restaurant.

I do believe that some of you might be familiar with Mujigae brand because they’re already opened it’s store in Jakarta, BSD, Bekasi, Depok, and finally the new kid on the block, yes Bogor !!! Mujigae open it’s store at Botani Square, the hippest mall in Bogor and the nearest one from Bogor toll exit just 5 minutes drive away. Mujigae have been the newest hype in Bogor and me and my friends are going to prove that hippest vibe.

MONARCHY Bistro, Bogor

Unfortunately, i had a visit on weekend and yes on Sunday and this place is freaking full & crowded, but thankfully that i got a space at a Smoking Area. Speaking about the Monarchy Bistro itself, i am quite impressed with this restaurant, the location is not in a main area but Monarchy has a magnetic factor, and i guess it's because the quality and they offers good food and good ambience as well. And finally Bogor has a good quality restaurant with comes up with new concept and new idea. Monarchy Bistro is basically a casual dining concept restaurant, and i love how they design the interior, the exterior is pretty simple with nice white color but you will be surprised when you enter this restaurant.

TIME OUT - Sports Cafe, Bogor

Hi The Liviosta, finally i come back to you with new post and more reviews, and just last week i make a visit to a newly-opened cafe with new concept in Bogor. Please welcome TIME OUT - Sports Cafe to the new member of must visit cafe in Bogor ! Yeah i must admit that this café comes with a very different concept unlike any other cafés in Bogor, they just opened it's door a few months back when the euphoria of World Cup began, Time Out opens to fulfill the Bogorians need of a good café to hangout and chillin around and yes again i would recommend to you this cafe, because the atmosphere is just right for you to spend along time with your friend and enjoy good food.

Dailydose Coffee & Eatery - Bogor

     Hi foodlovers, lama gak update nih dan baru sempet update kali ini, sebenernya udah banyak pendingan update yang udah numpuk tapi baru sempet review sekarang, hehehe. kali ini gue akan review salah satu café baru dibilangan Bogor nih namanya Dailydose Coffee & Eatery, tempatnya tergolong cozy dan bisa jadi pilihan kalian buat tempat nongkrong baru di Bogor. Sebenernya gue udah lama pengen kesini cuma karena jadwal kerja yang padat jadi baru sempet kesini minggu lalu.

     Lokasi Dailydose beralamat di Jalan Raya Pandu No.141 A, atau gampangnya daerah Cimahpar atau Bogor Baru *jalur angkot 05*. Lokasinya terbilang lumayan ramai dan dilewati lalu lalang mobil dan angkutan umum dan lokasinya di pinggir jalan utama sehingga membuat kita untuk mudah menemukannya, tapi harus agak jeli karena bangunannya agak masuk kedalam, tapi tenang aja karena warna tampilan luarnya yang ngejreng hijau tosca membuat mata langsung melirik kearah kiri hehe.

Dari luar kita disambut dengan tampilan yang eye-catchy, pemilihan warna Tosca & Glossy Brown dirasa cocok dengan konsep yang diusung, selain itu cukup menarik perhatian. Dailydose Coffee & Eatery buka setiap hari dari jam 10.00 - 22.00, just like other café Dailydose menyediakan makanan seperti pasta, cakes, dan juga coffee or tea, tapi apa sih yang bikin Dailydose beda dengan café-café yang lain ? yuk kita intip aja review kali ini tentang Dailydose.

Dari pemilihan interior gue rasa Dailydose cukup pintar dalam mengaplikasikan konsep yang mereka usung dan dapat membuat para pengunjungnya betah berlama-lama untuk menikmati suasana disini, selain terasa nyaman, atmosphere yang diciptakan juga dirasa hangat, pemilihan ornamen juga dirasa tepat sehingga terasa berbaur dan menyatu.

Untuk pemilihan menu juga Dailydose cukup pintar untuk tidak terlalu memasukkan banyak menu, varian makanannya juga dirasa cukup menarik dan dengan harga yang cukup terjangkau, design menunya juga simple dan chic sehingga tidak memusingkan customer yang ingin memesan.

Pada saat itu gue memesan Spaghetti Aglio Olio *all time favorite*, Fettuccine Alfredo, Caffee Latte, Iced Green Tea Latte, & Taiwanese Ice Pudding *yang lagi hits belakangan ini*. Gak lama setelah memesan, pesanan langsung datang which is responnya sangat cepat dan tanggap, pelayanannya juga ramah, selain itu juga mereka menawarkan untuk dessrt mau disajikan sekarang atau setelah main course *two thumbs up*, by the way gue gak pernah dapet serve kaya gini sebelumnya di café-café lain.

*Spaghetti Aglio Olio - IDR 32,5k*

Well, dish ini merupakan my all time favorite dish, which is gue sangat-sangat strict dan sensitive when it comes to Aglio Olio, but this one is recommended, menurut gue rasanya well-balanced dan gak ada yang terlalu berlebihan ataupun kurang, everything is well-cooked & well-seasoned. Porsi - Harga - Rasa 3 kategori itu menurut gue worthed.

*Fettuccine Alfredo - IDR 32,5k*

Menurut gue dish ini mungkin enak bagi penyuka something creamy, tapi buat gue terlalu creamy dan rasanya kurang asin, but overall rasanya enak kok.

*Vanilla Latte - IDR 25k*

Gue merupakan orang yang coffee addict dan menurut gue Vanilla Latte ini gak terlalu manis dan gak terlalu pahit juga, semuanya balanced, dan yang pasti worthed banget dengan harga yang ditawarkan. Pas banget dinikmati sore-sore atau nongkrong bareng temen sambil ditemani cake yang ada di Dailydose.

*Iced Green Tea Latte - IDR 30k*

This one recommended, rasanya pas dan Matchanya kerasa, meskipun agak overpriced tapi dengan suasana dan tempat yang dirasa oke, semuanya terbayar lunas kok.

*Taiwanese Iced Pudding w/ Ogura Ice Cream - IDR 25k*

Ini nih yang katanya lagi hits banget di Jakarta, dengan banyaknya versi dan vendor dengan bermacam varian dan topping, tapi Dailydose recreate dessert yang satu ini dengan versi mereka dan gak perlu pusing-pusing nentuin topping yang diinginkan, penutup yang perfect dihari yang panas, but for me the taste a lil bit too sweet, tapi kata temen gue enggak rasa manisnya pas, mungkin bagi penyuka manis dish ini sih enak dan pas tapi menurut gue ini agak kemanisan, tapi overall totally recommended. Toppingnya ada macam-macam, terdiri dari : Egg Pudding, Taro Pudding, Mango Pudding, Pearl Bubble, Ogura Ice Cream, Crushed ice & Symple Syrup.

Black House Café, Jakarta

Hi food lovers, di postingan kali ini saya akan membuat review tentang restoran, di postingan perdana di rubrik Restaurant Reviews ini saya akan membahas tentang Black House Café, Jakarta. Pada kunjungan waktu itu saya dan teman-teman kelompok saya dalam rangka observasi restoran unik karena dapet tugas dari dosen mata kuliah Food & Beverage Service mengunjungi Black House, kenapa kita memilih Black House sebagai tempat observasi kita ? karena konsep dan design yang diusung oleh Café ini sangat unik dan beragam, selain itu atmospherenya juga hangat dan nyaman sehingga cozy dan cocok banget buat pilihan tempat hangout para food lovers, nah daripada berlama-lama mendingan kita bahas aja langsung yuk.

Black House Café ini terletak di daerah Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan atau lebih tepatnya beralamat di Jl. Cililin Raya No.3 Tirtayasa. Lokasinya sendiri tergolong jauh dari keramaian namun diapit oleh 2 jalan utama sehingga memungkinkan orang untuk mampir sejenak untuk melepas kepenatan ditengah macetnya kota Jakarta.

Black House merupakan sebuah bangunan berlantai 4 yang memiliki 7 konsep berbeda, dan setiap lantai terdapat beberapa konsep yang benar-benar mempunyai ciri khas, diantaranya ada Coffee Area, Boutique Area, Books Area di Level 1, di Level 2 ada Flower Area & Candy Area, di Level 3 ada Music Area & di Level 4 atau rooftop ada Heaven Area. daripada berlama lama mending kita liat aja foto-foto yang berhasil kita abadikan. Coffee Area : Seperti layaknya Cofee Shop kebanyakan, tapi cukup cozy untuk sekedar bersantai bersama teman atau rekan kerja sehabis pulang kantor.

Books Area : Seperti ruangan santai atau perpustakaan mini yang sering ada dirumah-rumah klasik eropa, terkesan simple dan mewah.

Boutique Area : suasana yang sedikit mellow dengan suguhan musik yang jazzy menambah hangatnya suasana.

Music Area : Seperti berada di music studio dan suasana London, banyak ornamen kaset dan piringan hitam.

 Candy Area : sangat girly dengan pajangan jajanan seperti cokelat, permen dan lollypop, dan mesin pembuat cotton candy di pojokan ruangan, dengan nuansa serba pink dan warna pastel.

Heaven Area : mengusung konsep rooftop dan sky dining, bernuansa seperti di Inggris, dapat melihat pemandangan kota Jakarta di malam hari.

Chicken Quesadillas : Recommended Appetizer, kulit tortilla diisi dengan ayam dan mozarella cheese, dipadu dengan saus salsa, sungguh menggugah selera, harganya 60k namun sepadan dengan nuansa dan interior restoran yang sangat unik, patut dicoba.

Selection of Iced Tea : Strawberry, Peach & Lemon Iced Tea, sangat recommended, ada 1 yang best seller yaitu Lychee Iced Tea namun sedang sold out sehingga kita tidak bisa mencobanya. harganya mulai 28-32k.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio Tuna : Rasa Tunanya berpadu dengan saus dan keju sungguh kombinasi yang pas, harganya 55k, patut dicoba

Strawberry Pannacotta : i think this is the best panna cotta in town, teksturnya yang lembut dan creamy berpadu dengan saus dan potongan strawberry yang asam sangat pas, dan membuat kita melupakan beban sejenak hehe, sendoknya juga unik, kalo bisa dibawa pulang sih udah dibawa dari kemaren-kemaren hahahaha. harganya 40k, meskipun terbilang mahal tapi worth it banget kok.
